Adaptations
By using these adaptations the Koala is able to survive for longer. By having a heavy coat it is able to survive in both hot and cold conditions. By having a slow metabolism they are able to survive on such a poor nutrient diet. By sleeping 18-20 hours during the day they are able to conserve their water and energy levels to survive the next day.
